These last days after my vacation have been extremely busy with unpacking from our holidays, making paper work for sold bears, listning new bears on Bid4Bears for the Artist Power Campaign ( I´m already a week behind ) and preparing for upcoming shows.
But now I think I have everything sorted out - atleast on my very long 'what to do' list :o).

I had a wonderful day at Hugglets. It was so exciting to meet collectors and fellow artists.

This is my table, just before the opening. I really enjoyed the day, and actually sold quite a few bears too. The atmosphere was so lovely and everyone was so happy. I think everyone had a great time. A big thank you to all of you who visited my on the day. It was so nice to meet you all.
After Hugglets, my husbond and I had planned a 14 days vacation travelling around in England.
First stop was Taunton, near Exmoor National Park for travelling. And so we did. This area is SO beautiful. We also got time for a visit to Minehead by the sea.

After Taunton our next stop was the beautiful city of Bath. Their anual Jane Austen Festival began the same day we arrived. Unfortenaltely we wasn´t aware, so we didn´t see the parade. But we did see lots of people in the park dressed up as on Jane Austens time. That was really fun.

And of course we had to se The Roman Bath. That was so interesting. Just being there and let you fantasy imagine how life was in those days in Bath. Just beautiful.

I really liked Bath. Those gorgeous buildings and the atmosphere. Definately have to go back some day. I´m also very proud to announce that my bears now are available in the bear shop in Bath:

After Bath, our next stop was Cheltenham. For walking again. And so we did.
We walked all the way up the Devils Chemny (from the hardest way ofcourse) - and was rewarded with most beautiful view.

While we were in Cheltenham we also found time for a one day trip to Stratford-Upon-Avon to see Sheakspeares birthplace and the church where he is buried.

After Cheltenham our last stop was Birmingham.
We arrived the very same day as the Conservative Conference began, so there was SO many people in town. I have never seen so many people in black suits. Fortenately we had reserved all our hotels from home (thanks Ruth) - otherwise I´m not sure there had been a room for us.

I have never seen any city with so big shopping centres as Birmingham. I could have spend several days in there, which ofcourse I didn´t as my husbond was traveling with me :o)

As you hopefully can see, I have had a wonderful vacation in England.
We were so lucky with the weather. A bit cloudy and a lot of sun all days. People are so nice in UK - in fact I loved every bit of it. Definately going back.

This has to be for now.
I´ll better get back to some bear making.

Many hugs, Tina
