Creating with my Vintage Finds 2

Those of you who have been visiting
over here before, have seen these among the
summers flea market finds

old worn fabric coffee filters.
I love the colors on these and thought they would
be great to create with

and so I did

with some of my vintage lace
added to the edges

some vintage jewelry pieces
with rhinestones

and some more lace

Cheesecloth with sweet images
of vintage children

still love to create with
those fabric images.
Aren´t they just cute....

This coffee filter is really special
I´ve decorated all 4 parts on this one.

Here they are all together

cute little baskets
or cones

all ready to decorate with.
Add a little greenery and they are all
ready for Christmas

I´ve added some vintage paper stribes inside this
with some old paper, some velvet leaves, a pod
and a sweet little christmas tree.

This one may be for me ;o)
Not sure I can part with this one.

Thank you so much for
visiting today sweet friends.

Wishing you all a beautiful day

Creating with my Vintage Finds

I´ve finally started creating with
my finds from the summers flea markets.

Remember these two?

A vintage grater and a strainer.
I´ve made them into sweet little christmas decorations

the strainer got a sweet little vintage girl inside
with a twig, moss and a little bit of cheesecloth

I´ve added some chandelier prismes
at the button - also found at the flea
and with a piece of vintage lace added as hanger
it turned out like this.

The grater is altered like a little cone.
Inside is a sweet little crochet doily,
a vintage wooden spool, some velvet leaves
and a vintage candle holder
used on the christmas tree in 'the old days'

decorated with vintage lace pieces
and a sweet vintage fabric image

this is how it looks like afterwards

Not too early for christmas, right ;o)

Wishing you all a beautiful
and creative day

Fall and Finds

Fall have certainly arrived over here.
Not Fall as in blue skies and bright sunny
but Fall as in rain, storm and fog.

Last weekend was beautiful though
and we decided to go out for a trip
and enjoy the wonderful weather

This is Fredensborg Castle
One of the Royal familys residenses.
It´s so beautiful with the copper roof.

It´s only about 20 minutes drive from where I live
and we enjoy going there occasionally

there´s free entrance to the park behind the castle.
So beautiful and relaxing.

On the way back we stumbled upon
a little sign for a flea market.
Well hided in an industrial area
so ofcourse we had to peek inside.

I managed to find a few scores for almost nothing.
A well worn silver tray
an old grater and a torn old german dictionary
and this....

a beautiful green french bottle

at least I think it´s a real french bottle
looking at the cork.
I think it´s beautiful anyway

Today was the lokal football clubs anual garagesale
Or I thought it was, only to find out that the club only served
coffee and cake, and had hired out the hall to different
dealers to set up booths.

Anyway
I found a few goodies today too

two vintage white table clothes
a bag filled with vintage wooden spools

a pair of vintage leather gloves
and a bunch of doilies

and some very cool french chocolate molds
all ready to alter.

It´s very foggy here today
but fortunately not cold.
I´m off for a walk - doctors order :o)

How is the fall weather at your place?

Wishing you all a beautiful day

The Stitching Project

Remember the Stitching project
I made some time ago?

I had a christmas project in mind

and here´s what it turned put to be

my humble stitched words
together with layers of vintage lace

and some vintage white buttons

it all ended up as pretty Christmas Stockings

Wouldn´t they be perfect on a mantle, or a door for christmas
with a few branches inside or maybe a little gift.

Linking up with
White Wednesday over at

I also want to say a big Thank You to all
my new followers - I´m so happy to see you here.
I see I´m heading fast towards a
700 followers giveaway

Wishing you all a wonderful day

*Hearts*

Hello Sweet Friends

and thank you so much for all
your get well wishes.
I´m sorry I haven´t been able to reply to you all
individually this time - hope that is okay.
I´ve started the threatment at the Physio
and I have to say it´s a tough one - urgghh
Apparently there´s a lot of myalgia
so this is going to take a long time, but I´m confident
it´s be good in the end.

Enough of that

I have been able to slowly start working in the studio again

and since I had to skip some of my plans on my to-do list
I went straight ahead towards Christmas

and have been making sweet little hearts

These are made from one of the vintage table cloths
I have found at the Flea this summer.

with a little piece of tea dyed muslin stamped
with a whreath stamp and some silver glitter
on the front, I though they would make a sweet
little decoration for Christmas

A few have been listed in the shop

Never too early for Christmas right....
It´ll be here before we know ;o)
