I´m sorry I haven´t been able to reply to you all

individually this time - hope that is okay.

I´ve started the threatment at the Physio

and I have to say it´s a tough one - urgghh

Apparently there´s a lot of myalgia

so this is going to take a long time, but I´m confident

it´s be good in the end.

Enough of that

I have been able to slowly start working in the studio again

and since I had to skip some of my plans on my to-do list

I went straight ahead towards Christmas

and have been making sweet little hearts

These are made from one of the vintage table cloths

I have found at the Flea this summer.

with a little piece of tea dyed muslin stamped

 with a whreath stamp and some silver glitter

on the front, I though they would make a sweet

little decoration for Christmas

A few have been listed in the shop

Never too early for Christmas right....

A Health Warning and Work in Progress

So Fall have arrived over here.

With cooler temperatures and the most

beautiful view to the forrest with all the different colors.

and then I went down with a massive headache.

This one is a tough one

not the old migraene but something different

so I had to make a doctors apointment

and the answer was: stress related and a blood pressure

way out of control - urghh - and so the cure is

more medicine, physiotherapy and exercise.

so

I haven´t been able to keep up with things

and to work much in the studio.

It´s better today though and I wanted to show you

some work in progress

I´m working on a private swap

for a wonderful and talented blogging friend

here´s a few sneak peeks

of what will be send of end of October

Can´t show you more at this time

as that would ruin the surprice

for my sweet friend L.

Todays Finds

Hello my sweet friends

A little update on this beautiful sunday.

We´re having a wonderful indian summer

and yesterday was the varmest day ever on an October 1th

Sunny and about 77 degress

I haven´t been able to spend much time in

the studio since our vacation -even grown up

kids needs a lending hand from time to time.

The 'to-do' list is growing and I´m a wee bit behind.

The Flea market season is almost over

and today was my last change to hit one.

Most of the booths were with clothes and shoes

today, but I did find a few with some cool old stuff

and here´s todays finds

pretty creamy velvet ribbon

one with a wonderful edge

a few vintage handlerchiefs

and some lace and crochet pieces

a wonderful vintage photoalbum.

These are really rare over here, so lucky me.

Filled with wonderful old photos too.

Great score I think

and

a pair of pretty little black girls shoes.

Thought they would be perfect for display

or maybe with a little bear inside.

This wonderful shop is specialized in bears

which I was so very lucky to be able to visit

during our vacation in the UK

releases a big katalog with limitied edition

bears made especialy for this shop.

I´m so proud and honoured to have been invited

to join in this exquisite company this year with some of my bears

These 4 little ones is created exclusively for Teddybears of Witney

in a limited edition of 5 each.

I´m back

Hi All

I´m back from a great show in London

and a wonderful vacation in the UK.

Here´s a look at my table

ready for the show to start.

I had such a great time.

Thank you so much to all of you who came to visit

and also a huge thank you to all who bought home a bear.

Almost all the bears found new homes.

Only a teeny little bunch came home with me.

They are now listed on my website.

After a few days in london

we were heading for Oxford for the rest of the week.

This was our first visit to this beautiful town

and we so enjoyed the stay.

Bears in a Box ready to travel

Hi All

Sorry for my absence lately.

It´s been some busy days over here.

Just need to do the last packing now.

Tablecloth

and wine boxes to use for the display.

Don´t worry - they will be covered with more tablecloth.

I need to have some levels on the table

for the bears to be seen

Lace and doilies and old cigar boxes

for the display too

All set to go

I will be leaving early in the morning heading for London

and the show on Sunday - can´t wait.

23 little ones hoping to find a new home.

After a few days in London we will be spending

some days in Oxford too, for

a little but much needed vacation.

Relaxing with some great food and wine, and if I´m lucky

an antique and Craft market too.

I´ll be out of the studio until September 18th.

Hoping to catch up with you all when I return.

Little Lace Books

Little Lace Books

that´s what I have been working on lately.

I really enjoy using little snippets

and pieces and leftovers for these

this is the layers in two books

not two 'pages' are alike

Here´s a little peek at one of the pages.

The covers are made from vintage quilt pieces.

Some very worn ones I came across some time ago.

Love the faded colors and just knew they would

be perfect for this project.

A few new creations

Things have started to settle down about the

bears for now so I have been working on a

few little pouches for the shop.

They are so much fun to make

and also a great way to use some

of the good stuff

made from a vintage table clothes I found

some time ago at the flea

I have decorated them with layers

of vintage lace and a piece of beautiful striped

french fabric in faded green and cream

still love to use fabric images.

These are some awesome old photos

I thought were just perfect for this project.

a little bit of cheesecloth

and some vintage buttons too

Great for a gift

or storage

or a pretty wall hanger decoration.

Put in some branches and pods

and you have a wonderful fall decoration.

A Little Bear Update

Hello sweet friends

To prove I have been working on bears

I wanted to show you a little preview of

some of the bears that will go with me

to the show in London in September

Cosettes dress is made from a vintage handkerchief

A little panda like in black and pale pink

'Lauritz' on the left

'Zeke' on the right

from vintage furniture fabric

'Tatter' and 'Worn Wally'

made to look old and worn

and this is

'Parker' on the left and

'Seemour Finnegan' on the right

in beautiful green and black handdyed viscose.

All the bears are about 4 inch.
