Just a Few Christmas Projects

Christmas will be here before you know.
and I´ve been working on a few Christmas Projects

still using the lace stash
big surprice - lol

I made up a few cones
decorated with old paper too
and sweet images

and while sorting in the studio I found these twig swings
I bough some years ago. They have just been laying there
for a project to turn up.
And here they are with paper dolls made from a vintage photo
and a little bit a lace.
I think they turned out quite cute.

another cone
with doll and a little bit of bling.

This is the latest creation.
A bell shaped cardboard ornament
(the half of it actually)
Decorated inside with bits and pieces of vintage
lace, cheeseclothes and a doily.

and with a sweet image on top of the lace,
some vintage buttons
and a piece of junk a beatiful rusty
broken jewelry.
The 'bell' decoration is hanging in a piece of old lace.

You just can´t be to early with those
Christmas Decorations
can you....

Wishing you all a wonderful day

A Teeny Little Halloween in my Home

Thought I would show you
my attemp to decorated a teeny little bit for Halloween
in my home.

It´s hard to find Halloween decoration stuff over here
so my collection is really small so far.
I did manage to find a few white pumpkins this year

So this is how it looks like when you enter through my door.
We have a very small hallway so there´s only  room for a
small sideboard.

further on - in the next little 'hall' I have an old
chest of drawers inherited from our great grandmother
I have put my large cloches on that one with
a wonderful fabric pumpkin underneath.
It would have looked so much nicer if the chest of drawers
had been painted white - think I might concider that

This is my diningroom table.
A few more of the white pumpkins

and a little spooky decoration in my recent cloch.

This isn´t really a Halloween thingy is it? - just though I would add something black in this one.
told you.... I don´t have that much decoration yet :-)
It looks really pretty on an old brass table also inherited.

My work table in my studio.
We found an old wooden box used for dried raisins
at my MILs, and I though it would look pretty on my table
to display different stuff.

now displaying one of my own creations.

I´m still hunting
and hope to add more to my collection for next year.

Thank you so much for visiting today
and wishing all of you, my wonderful blogging friends
a wonderful day

Beautiful Fall Weather and a Few Creations for Christmas

We have the most wonderful fall weather these days
Kind of Indian summer with lots of sun.
So Sunday we decided to drive up to the north coast for a walk.
It´s only half an hours drive from where I live.

we walked out through the forrest

and back along the beach

a delightful trip that was.

Now for something else.
One of the girls in my Cottage Style Etsy group wanted to have a black and white Christmas this year
and we had a little tlak about what could be used and what could be created
and that definately got my head spinning.

and when seing Karlas wondeful Frozen Charlotte Fairy Creation
in the new Somerset Life
that´s was got me into playing with my peatpots again

so here goes:
peatpots painted black
a little lace edging sewn on

and decorated with cheeseclothes,
muslin and sweet vintage images

these little black and white tag decorations
are created from those little photos I got
in the swap with Heidi

I´ve scanned them because I didn´t wanted to use the original ones
and because I didn´t like them to be glossy.
Same photo on both sides and
cheeseclothes sewn in between.

pretty little decorations
for a Black and White Christmas

Thank you so much for peeking in today
Wishing you all a wonderful day

Petite Box Swap

Everyone in my group have received their
Petite Boxes - Black and White editions
so now I can reveal the photos

this is how my boxes for my swap partners looks like on the outside
Old book pages, a vintage doily, black ribbon with vintage button
and a sweet image sewn on

here´s what was inside.
We don´t have to correct size matchboxes in Denmark
so I glued two together instead and
created some with two drawers.

and

here´s what I received

this is the box from Heidi
so beautiful decorated with ledger paper
a wonderful white flower and an old tip for a fountain pen

and here´s a peak of what was inside

the box was decorated on the inside too - how cute is that

wonderful black and white goodies from Heidi
I especialy love those tiny black and white photos - such a great idea

and

this was in the package from Lorraine

all of this was extras - awesome halloween goodies
Can´t wait to create with this

and this is the beautiful box Lorraine created for me
I love the Halloween theme and that sweet little girl with fairy wings

Inside the box there were sweet silver stars, a little bling with rhinestones
and the sweeterst little white bird.

Thank you so much
Heidi and Lorraine
for creating these beautiful boxes for me.
