A little Sneak Peek and A New Shop

Yesterday was the last day for shipping the boxes for the

Black and White Petite Box Swap

over at Speckled Egg

I don´t want to spoil it for my partners

so you´ll have to do with a little sneak peek.

Here´s a few of the inside of my boxes

and a little close up of the outside.

This was so much fun and I hope my swap partners

like them too.

I´ll show you everything when the boxes have arrived

and ofcourse I´ll show you the ones I´ll recieve too.

A Few Flea Market Finds

Found a new flea market today

well - a new one for me that is.

A flea market I didn´t know off

not too far from where I live

and of course I had to check it out.

Here´s what I brought home today

two beautiful old french plates in blue and white

a little bunch of lace pieces including

this wonderful white collar and

this beautiful peach colored collar too

I love the look of this one

so soft

This fun little cake stand

and a cloche with a wonderful old french plate

oh what joy it is to visit flea markets

my all time favorite pasttime

you probably already know that - lol

Autumn Art Party

I´ve always found it so much fun to try and create items for Halloween.

Since we don´t celebrate Halloween in Denmark

it´s a fun challenge too.

I´m quite happy with this one

and it was so much fun to make

I hope I have captured the spirit right

I did have lots of fun

there´s just something with that Halloween thingy

Dolls Dress Creation

Remember the dolls dresses I got from Lisa

I created a sweet and simple decoration to have on the wall

in my studio with one of them

as background a vintage child book cover

you can just see a glimpse through the lace

wrinkled up in the corners

and decorated with vintage buttons

the dress is then attached on top of the lace

and decorated with a little piece og lace

and a beautiful jewelry piece

a wire added as hanger

and this is how it looks

I just love that old tattered dress

and it fits perfect to the color of that old book cover too

a sweet and simple decoration.

It´s not offen I manage to create something for myself

so I´m really happy with the outcome of this.

It´s on the wall next to my working table

and I enjoy it every day.

Back again

I´m back from a great fair in London.

Lots of bears found new homes

and I had a wonderful day cachting up with old and new collectors

and fellow bearmakers

here´s a few photos of my table

A little bunch of bears came home with me

and they are now available

I also brought back a wonderful pile of

vintage furniture fabric

New old looking little ones will soon be in the making

for the upcoming online shows.

Flea Marked Finds

I recently got a change to visit my all time favorite Flea market again

and I did get some really great finds

at least I think they are though

wanna have a look?

a sweet silver tray - a bit worn and tattered

and it do need some pohlish too

but I think it will look great with some lace in

a big bunch of crochet doilies and

some tart molds too

old key holes

and a box of vintage dominoes in a smaller size

than I have seen before.

I have no idea what to use them for - yet (the dominoes that is)

just thought they were great

and they might fit in to the Sweet and Sinister Swap coming up

with the black and white theme - what do you think?

some old tins

I´m really fond of those tiny yellow ones.

They were use for pain killers

a big back for old chandelier parts - yummi.

Have I been for a lookout for them... oh man

They are so great - image all the possibilities here..

I love the look of this.

Bought in another booth than the cloche

and look what happens when I pair to two

and a little lavender burlap bag in pale pink

decorated with a vintage rose image printed on muslin and cheesecloth

the lavender is in a seperate paper bag inside, and can easily be removed

if you would like to use the bag for something else.

Lace Tag Book Creations

I´m so enjoying having a large stach of lace

it´s so great not to have to economise

when creating

so

I´ve had fun with lot of lace

using teadyed tags

and old hinges

and now you probably know what it is....

a few lace tag books

decorated with layers of lace 

little pieces of old book pages

sweet images printed on muslin

(again....) - lol

Didn´t they turn out just the sweetest...

I´m really having a hard time letting them go
