I {am} working

Hello

Just wanted to let you know
I AM working on them.
The bears I mean.
I´m having a busy time over here right
now to have enough little ones finished before the fair.

here´s a few 'work in progress'
photos from Instagram
(if you´re on Instragram, pop over and follow along
 - link in the sidebar)

Those little ones in the next photo
are all set and ready to go.

They are both 4" tall and made from vintage fabric.
They have a wobble head and have been distressed
to look old and worn and well loved.

Hector and Emmet

aren´t they just cute.

Thanks for popping in today
I better get back to work :-)

Wishing you all a beautiful sunday

Fabric and Lace {Books}

Hello

I´ve finally finished the fabric
and lace books I told you about in the last post

here´s a look at the spines

and a peek to the pages.

The one at the buttom is a gift
for a friend, so I can´t show that one

here´s a little peek of the cover though

and a little detail from one of the pages inside.
The rest will have to be a secret for now.

I CAN show you the other one

it´s filled to the brim.

Here´s some of the pages inside.
Everything is made from my flea maket finds.
vintage lace and fabric

and an old worn book.
I took the pages out and used the cover for my lace book.

this is the back cover

This book will go in the shop

*******

as of now...

I´m working on bears.
Hugglets is fast approaching and with only 5 weeks left
that means I need to finish at least 3 bears per week
to have enough to fill my table.
In addition there´s going to be some for
The Bear Scout in the US and
for my website too.

so - I guess
the next post will be about the bears :-)

Wishing you all a beautiful sunday

Back to {normal}

Hello

Life is slowly getting back to normal
over here.
It seems Mr Blue have finally left.

I´ve been working on my journal
from the 'Ticket to Venice' class.
That saved me though.

I´ve made my journal into a 'how to' travel journal
with tips and trick from Mary Ann.
Here´s the front cover

the binding for this is a diamond X stitch
so cool

This is a few of the pages inside

with the postcards Mary Ann provided
us with during the trip

and photos from some of the georgeous things
she saw and shop she visited.
I have borrowed these from the class blog
for my own personel use, for when I
get a change to visit Venice

I´m not finished working in this journal.
Going to add some more tips and trick about Venice
and about making these travel journals.

I´ve been in the studio making a few
and there´s more in pipeline.
I have some very insteresting trips coming up
this year

the one at the buttom is my Venice Journal.
On top of that, two new - ready for use.
I´m not sure about the spine on the one
in the middle  I might change that.

A look at the signatures.

If you want to know how to make these journals
make sure to check out Mary Anns class

You can find her others classes on
her blog here

For now....

I´m in the studio working on
some lace books
and new bears for upcoming
shows and website updates.
More about that in the next post.

I hope you haven´t left me while I was gone.
I´m so happy to be back
