Some Recent Finds

Hi All

I´m still up to my ears in bearmaking working hard to be ready
for the fall show in London

but wanted to show you
a few recent finds I got
a few weeks ago at the flea

A few books with pretty covers.
The red one is an old flower dictionary
about chrysanthemums

Here´s a closer look inside.
Filled with pretty illustrations.
Not sure I´ll pull this apart though

a bag filled with cross stich fabric

two pretty vintage purses

a tea sieve (not sure this is the right word)
and an awesome old grater
all ready to alter.

I really AM working on bears and to prove it
here´s a little preview
of two little ones ready
for the fair

back to work

Wishing you all a wonderful sunday
Tina ♥♥♥

I must confess I'm a little jealous of the cross stitch fabric. That sort of thing works so well for my doll's aprons and such.

The bears are adorable. Just perfect...

The BEST bears I've ever, ever seen! I love your work. Amazing!

Your flea market finds are 2die4. You come to America and visit me and you can stay in my house and junk with me. Then I'll come there and do the same. OK?

It's a tea strainer ... very handy to have when you brew with loose tea! Love your finds :)

Lovely finds, Tina!

I love seeing people's finds. so many lovely things. i must admit, I have a terrible weakness for old books, particularly ones with lovely covers or ones in different languages. My collection is getting waaaay too big! The ones you found are so charming!

Hi sweet Tina,

I got so tickled at you saying you were up to your ears in bear making! That doesn't sound bad considering how adorable your bears are, but I do know they are a lot of work! I always look forward to your finds! love the old books, especially the flower one. I don't think i could pull it apart either! It is in really excellent condition. The fabric and vintage purses are beautiful! I love those needlepoint purses! The tea strainer and grater are lovely too. So glad you had a lot of good finds.

Your bears are so SWEET!!! Your work just amazes me sweet friend! I especially love the rosy pink one! I know they will sell quickly. I so wish I could come to the fair!

Take good care and don't work too hard!

Love and hugs,

That's a tea strainer, and I think the grater is for nutmeg.

I love those purses! Our thrift shops, or charity shops as they're called here, are never as interesting!
