Incorporating Colors

that´s what I´m trying anyway
Incorporate more colors in my work
Even though I´m drawn to the neutrals - you all know that,
I have been wanting to try to add some
colors to my work too
Not an easy thing you know...

I´ve been working on a collage to see
how it would work out.
Here´s a little bit of pale pink
with some awesome vintage buttons

a beautiful claret silk ribbon

layers of lace
with a sweet image in the middle

also used the ribbon as hanger

everything is created on an old book cover
as background.
Here´s the back of the collage

Not a lot of colors
I know, I know
but that´s a start isn´t it...

Wishing you all a beautiful sunday
Tina ♥♥♥

Hi Tina, Using a little bit more color is what I plan to do too. I agree that it's not so easy but I find that the colors you chose go very well with the neutrals and the vintage style. Your creations turned out beautiful and I love that image of that couple and the parasol.
Have a lovely Sunday :-)!

Julia

hi tina,
i love working with neutrals too, have the preference to see the color harmony relationship with each other,
sometimes it's interesting to work on certain high hue color which make a bit contrast.
your pieces are esthetically pleasing <3

I too have a phobia of color when I am creating but once in a while it is nice to add just a touch here and there. Bravo for the bravery, your creations are beautiful!!

Tina,
This is funny, all of us 'low color' girls are getting spring fever & using color. I'm working on my post now for my give away & I actually used blue in it! I am loving your beautiful collages, the dusty rose color is perfect! Lisa
