I´m back

from Italy
and the Amalfi Coast
We had a great trip
and enjoyed everything.

Here´s a few photos of
what I have seen

the look down from the road.
There´s one road along the coast
not very wide, I have to tell you
but with the most breathtaking views to the coast.

the view from the sea

a peaceful garden.
Villa Cimbrone in Ravello

more from Ville Cimbrone

we walk up from the coast to Ravello
400 meter of highs from the sea.
Doesn´t sound like much you might think
It was..... phew

My Studio

I cross my fingers this will work and this post will show up
on the right day - at this moment I´m enjoying some time Italy.

Welcome to the
Where Bloggers Create
blog party hosted by sweet Karen over at

and welcome to my Studio

This is how my studio looks like at first sight through the door

my working table just in front of the window
and the lenght of the table - that´s how wide my room is
it´s a VERY small room

the left wall filled with shelves
the white ones are the newest ones
and that´s where I keep most of the pretty stuff

the right wall - also filled with shelves

and at the end a leftover desk from my children with
my computer and printer.
as you can see - filled to the brim

lets have a closer  look
this is a pretty old shelf painted cremy white
on the only spot left on my walls - next to my working table

lots of books and magazines.

on my working table I

on my working table II

an old cake centrepiece filled with pretty stuff

tags, lace, seambinding - ready for use

old glass jars with more tags and clothespins with seambinding

some of my finds from flea markets

old handkerchiefs, pretty lace, old sewing notions

my collection of old tins and boxes
ready for use

an old metal planter filled with silk fabric
and velvet flowers

two little bears waiting for a new home

and my old dressform
decorated with a vintage collar
and pretty flower
and some of my necklaces

This is where I create.

I hope you have enjoyed the visit

Looking forward to visit everyone
when I´m back from my little trip

Wishing you all a wonderful day

Fun With Cabinet Cards

I have been having fun with my Cabinet Cards lately
Didn´t want to use the original ones, so I scanned a few
in different sizes and have been creating with these

glued onto heavy card stock they turned out almost as the original ones

adding a bit a seambinding

and some rusty paper clips

a bit of twine too

I have been creating tags, ornaments

and a fun garland too

time is running
and vacation time is fast approaching
One week left before I´m heading for a 14 days
trip to the Amalfi Coast in Italy
which means visits to Capri, Possitano, Ravello, Vesuv, Pompeiji ...
and lots of good food and wine

I need to finish a few projects before though
and prepare the post for the
Where Bloggers Create Blog Party.
I hope I can find out how to schedule the post
to show up on the right day.

Wishing you all a wonderful
and creative weekend
