Romantic Handkerchief decorations

This is a VERY easy-to-do project
and what I used some of my old handkerchief for

all you need is some old paper
music sheets or pages from an old book

a piece of seambinding
and a little something to tie onto the seambinding

I used tiny madonna medaillions

and then you have a sweet romantic and nostalgic
decoration to ad in a display in your home

wishing you a romantic monday

Flea Market Finds

I went to the flea makets last saturday
it had been a while, so I needed... lol
this one is a big indoor one we have in Copenhagen
not a bargain flea market
more like an antique dealer mixed with expensive flea market boots market

so you´ll have to look closely to find good stuff
I was a bit lucky this time though

An old tin box
in brown and robins egg blue
- I love old tin boxes and there were a lot this time.
also smaller ones. Most of them were USD 15
I found this for 4

and how about this beautiful old pale pink brooch
rhinestones and silver feathers

brass handles
if you turn them upside down they will
be beautiful holders in a mixed media project

a bunch of old hankerchiefs with the most
beautiful edges
some of them silk
I have the perfect idea for those
coming in my shop very soon :D

and some very old candle light holders
for the christmas tree
I´m not going to use them on my christmas tree though
I´m pretty sure the will end up in a project instead.
~
wishing you a wonderful weekend

what would be more appropriate than a giveaway

so I have been spending some time in the studio
to create a little something for you to win...

so here it is...
a beautiful old cigar box
with the original label round the edge
I didn´t decorate the box, as I think it´s quite beautiful as is
and maybe you would like to decorate it yourself
but
it´s not only an old cigarbox
....

I did put something in it too
so
let´s have a look of what´s inside

this is the inside of the lid
the original stamp from the shop

some old book pages and music sheets

a little bunch of used Danish stamps

digital images printed and cut out ready for use
of sweet vintage couples
(valentines days is approaching right)

a little bit of laze

one of my homemade ribbons with crowns

an old skeleton key
and a tulle bag with old
white buttons from my personal collection

paper flowers in white and cream

leave a comment on this post
if you would like to be entered
in the giveaway

January 9th
