A New Canvas Creation and the first sign of Christmas

I´ve been having fun with the lace again
and created a new collage.
This one is sewn onto a canvas
You can just see a bit of the canvas underneath
the layers on this photo

I think the canvas gives a great
dimension to the collage.

So I used different layers of lace
and an old doily
added a bit of creamy silk

some vintage buttons
and a sweet image on muslin in the middle

quite pretty I think
and all ready to hang

************************

The first sign of Christmas is here

I bought a few hyacinths today
removed the soil on one of them
and hope it will grow in this old jar

the rest of them were planted
in a little zinc bowl
and are now the first to see
when entering my frontdoor.

Thank you so much for visiting
and I hope you all will have a beautiful day

Tina ♥♥♥

Your collage is just beautiful, dear Tina! The hyathints look lovely in your zinc tub. It's like spring is just around the corner.
I've sent your package out today and hope it will arrive soon :-).
Have a great evening!
Big HUGS to you,

Hello sweet Tina! I am always so happy to see a new post from you! I love to see what you are creating and doing all the way in Denmark, it makes you seem a little closer to Louisiana! :) Your lace creations are always so gorgeous! I love this collage! All of the whites are so pretty and the image is darling! I love how you used a canvas for the base! I just purchased some over the weekend to try and paint a portrait of some of the dolls that I make on to. I have them all sketched out, but we will see how the painting goes! :)

I agree, the canvas gives your collage great dimension! You are so creative! I love all the layers of lace. You can never have enough of lace! The silk, buttons and doily are beautiful too!

How wonderful you are seeing the first sign Christmas! I love hyacinths! Yours look so pretty in the old jar and zinc container! I can hardly wait to see them bloom! My Christmas cactuses are blooming! Thank you for sharing sweet friend! I enjoyed my visit!
Love and hugs, Paula… have a beautiful day too!
