Fun With Cabinet Cards

I have been having fun with my Cabinet Cards lately
Didn´t want to use the original ones, so I scanned a few
in different sizes and have been creating with these

glued onto heavy card stock they turned out almost as the original ones

adding a bit a seambinding

and some rusty paper clips

a bit of twine too

I have been creating tags, ornaments

and a fun garland too

time is running
and vacation time is fast approaching
One week left before I´m heading for a 14 days
trip to the Amalfi Coast in Italy
which means visits to Capri, Possitano, Ravello, Vesuv, Pompeiji ...
and lots of good food and wine

I need to finish a few projects before though
and prepare the post for the
Where Bloggers Create Blog Party.
I hope I can find out how to schedule the post
to show up on the right day.

Wishing you all a wonderful
and creative weekend
Tina ♥♥♥

WAIT!!!!
14 days?
I need make sure my passport is current, go clothes shopping, and pay all of my bills before we leave!
What? You're not taking me with you? (pout pout)
hahaha
Girl, I LOVE CAPRI and Pompeii. I went in 2003 and I swear, they had to drag me on that plane to come back home. I wish I could hop in your suitcase and go with you!!!! You are going to have sooo much fun.
So here's the deal then since I can't go. PLEASE take lots of photos and post so I can feel like I was there too...PLEASE! :)

I love your garland and everything about it...down to the rusty paperclips! You just make me want to burn up my copy machine and through my paper clips out in the rain! :))))

You sure I can't go with you?
;)

HI Tina, well it looks as though everyone wants to go along on your vacation, so I may as well see if I can go too. How wonderful and awesome your 14 days will be, just a little jealous over here in Canada. Have lots of fun!

I love your new art, it is amazing as always. That is great that your cabinet cards turned out so fabulous when you copied them. I love your little bits of rusty clips.

Hugs,
Debby

I love what you did with copies of your cabinet cards. You would never know they aren't the originals. Now I know what to do with rusty paperclips! LOL!

Enjoy your wonderful trip to Italy.

I really like your tags and garland. I do hope you will post some of your pictures of your trip to Italy. That will be the only way that I will get to see it. Have a wonderful weekend.

Tina,
You are so clever! I am so happy I saw this post today. I'm putting kits together for my Paper Cowgirl class & need cabinet cards for the girls. I thought of using the real deal, but 24 students. Well, I'm not a stingy girl but thats a lot. Can I borrow this idea? I promise I'll give you full credit! Just card stock? I love it so much!
You are going to have an awesome time, so jealous. I agree with Jodie, please take pictures. I can't wait to see your studio on the 24th. Lisa

Your cabinet card garland is such a brilliant idea. The copies work ever so well, I bet from a distance you can't tell the difference at all.

What a wonderful trip you have planned!
And I love your cabinet card projects!!
I haven't started preparing my 'where women create' post either. Better start cracking, it seemed so far away when I signed up and now it is almost here.

So do you find out if you can schedule a post for the right day?
I would love to know! So if not maybe you'll find an internet café from where you can post it.
