I have wanted to create something in those delicious
white and cream colors for some time now
and the print on muslin project generated the first idea in my head.
this sweet image of birds (printed on muslin), some lace,
and a vintage doily
was used for the cover of this journal
on the inside of the cover is a sweet 'album' image
and on the inside of the back cover is a pocket
tucket with sweet bird images
***
this next project included some fabric,
seam binding and lots of lace
you probably know those altered suitcase pockets...
well - I didn´t have any old suitcases to I decided to make my
own altered suitcase pockets instead
I thought they would be great to tuck little thÃngs in for presents
a few of these are on their way as presents already.
I won´t show you what´s inside as it would spoil the surprice
and I won´t tell you for whom eighter - they might pop in here for a look.
some will be heading for my shop too.
Just need to find a few goodies to put inside of these too.
okay - my first attemp of creating little pockets.
What do you think...
Wishing you all a wonderful and creative tuesday
Tina ♥♥♥

You did an awesome job on making your little pockets. I always drop by to see what you have been doing. I may be a little late, but I try to catch up with my blogging friends. Have a wonderful weekend. Your Missouri Friend.
Tina,
I am so all about pockets lately. I put one in that box for Julia, put them in my little egg baskets, put them everywhere. Yours are amazing. I need to check out your store. I love your book with the muslin transfer cover as well. I'm behind on my blogg visits so I'm going onto your previous post now, then to your shop. Beautiful work friend! Lisa
