Birds, Nests and one little bear in progress

I have had a weekness or passion or facination or whatever you what to call it for images with birds and nests lately. I have seen so many beautiful images and so many lovely creations with birds and nests, so I got inspired to create something myself.
So I board some collage sheets - found my old books and some vintage inspired paper I had stored long time ago (almost forgot I had those) and decided to create some sweet little notecards.

I also had those tiny envelopes in my gems - can´t remember how I got them though. So I made some cards to match those envelopes. Decorated with paper from and old book and old music sheets.

and sweet images of birds and nests. All different - in set of 5. They are now listed in my shop.
If you pop over for a look, make sure the check out my shop announcement too, as I´m having a discount until May30th.

So - still working on them bears . This little fellow is on my working table right now. Only his head are finished, but I think he´s looking quite sweet already.

He´s going with me to Stratford too, when he´s finished. It´s going to be quite busy here the next few weeks, as I´m leaving for 14 days holiday on May 11th and when I get back is´t only two weeks to the fair :D.
Okay - better get back to sewing.

Have a lovley weekend.

Still Working

I´m still working on bears for the Bear Fair in Stratford-Upon-Avon, UK. Only 6 weeks to go and about 22 bears finished - yeah. This little one in the tin box is the latest. He´s called Felix and is about 3.5 inch. Sitting in his little tin box - decorated with paper from an old book and images of birds nest and eggs. I like to this this is his own little nest.

I´ve also been working on new items for my Etsy shop.
This old cabinet card is decorated with lace, old buttons and a madonna medallion at the buttom.

and some beautiful vintage inspired tags. Tea dyed manila tags decorated with a big rubber stamp and images of sweet vintage children. Perfect as gift tags or bookmarks. A bit of creme seam binding is attached to each of them.

The cabinet card and the tags are listed in my Etsy shop. Click here if you would like to have look. I do try to list new items as offen as possible in between the bearmaking.

Have a great day.

Button Hearts and a Pincushion

When I made the gifts for the 'Pay It Forward' post, I took the time to create some for my shop too. One little heart created from a beautiful grey/brown fabric with prints on - french inspired.
Decorated with vintage buttons in a heart shape too

another little fabric heart - in a lovely pale pile color with creme polka dots. Also decorated with vintage buttons on the front, in a heart shape. I really like these hearts - have plans for more - lol

and one pincushion created from that same fabric as the first heart. Decorated with old lace and old buttons. One big one on the top and one tiny one on the back.

and you have probably guessed it by now - I really like to create with old buttons - ha.
Can´t get enough of those old ones - actually love all things old and vintage inspired.

The pincushion and the hearts are now listed in my Etsy Shop. Click here if you would like to have a look.

Have a great friday.

New Jewelry and ACEOs

After finishing those little secrets from the last post I have spend the rest of the weekend making new jewelry. I got hold of some beautiful stones at the fair last weekend - jade, magnasite ect. I don´t know if these names are the right ones, but this is what they are called in Denmark.

I have created some new earrings and a few necklaces with those beautys. I love the color on those stones - light green - so spring. On this necklace I added a Madonna Medallion next to the big Jade.

Earrings in Jade too, with a tiny vintage bead cap on top, hanged on vintag earwire.

Necklace with a beautiful pumpkin-shaped magnasite stone. I have added a vintage simili from an old necklace on top and an old key next to the stone.
The new jewelry are available here.

I also got time to take up Sadies challenge about making ACEOs for the weekly blog update over here.

Using Marie Antoinette collage sheets

I created those. Adding old paper, music sheets, card stock, different cut outs

I really like the colors and had so much fun creating those. These two and some more are available here.

I hope you all have had a lovely weekend. Over here spring has arrived and the sun has been shining almost all weekend - still quite cold in the mornings though.

Until next time ♥♥♥

The new issue of Somerset Life just arrived in my mailbox. I love this magazine. It´s so beautiful and so inspiring. In fact - I love a lot of the mags. from Stampington. You´ll know if you have followed me for a while :o)
I´m in my first co-ad with Lollishops in this mag. For that I created this little Bird Box.
A card board box decorated with pages from an old dictionary, paper lace, and old key and the words 'What A Little Bird Said'

On top I have added a little bird in the most lovely blue and brown colors on a nest made of string

The box measures 4 x 4 x 2 inch. Perfect as decoration or to hide little secrets.
Available here.
Happy wednesday.
