More Valentines Goodies

I finished my little Valentines Bear. Here she is. Sweet little Valentina - 3.5 inch.

She is made of a sparse red mohair and brown ultrasuede paws. Wearing a little red heart-bell.
Just perfect for Valentines day. She has just been listed on my website.

For my Lollishop, I have been creating a few more goodies for Valentines Day.
Using vintage photos of couples, handsewn fabric hearts, tulle, buttons and pearls for decoration.
This is one of my new creations:

A wall hanging - perfect for Valentines Day. It was so much fun making these wall hangings. I actually think they turned out quite sweet. I have listed the new goodies in my shop at Lollishops. Follow this link, if you would like to have a look:

Valentines projects

I hope you all have had a wonderful Christmas.
I have spend the Christmas days working in the studio on some ideas for Valentines Day.

Using some of my italien brocade-fabric, old tulle and lace, a broken bling-brooch and some vintage buttons.

These two hand sewn hearts was the result. I think they look really pretty. Would be perfect as a gift on Valentines Day.

More projects are in progress. I´m currently working on a sweet little Valentines Bear - I´ll show you pictures as soon as she is finished.

The two hearts is listed in my Lollishops. Please feel free to have a look.

Enjoy the weekend.

Things are starting to settle down now - all the preparations for tomorrow are finished.
All the presents are wrapped - all the food shopping are done. I even had some spare time to work in the studio.

I wish for all of you a peaceful and joyful Holiday.
Merry Christmas

Lollishopping

While browsing Lollishops I stumpled upon this shop with the most beautiful jewelly.

Isn´t these earrings just wonderful. Created by the sweet Kathi at Vintage Inspired Jewelry

I just love Kathi´s creations. I have already bought a pair of her lovely earrings - not those in the picture above - but some of her 'Tiny Tiles and Swalows' earrings, and I just love them.

Just look at this 'Filigree And The Chrysanthemum Ring' - so beautiful.
Her jewelry comes so beautifully packet - such a joy.

Making decisions

I always find it difficult to make those decisions - about advertising that is.
I find that advertising is a must - but to find out how much and where..., that the question.
So far I have signed up for 4 issues in Australian Bear Creations for next year , as I´m going to participate in two shows down under. One online show (be my Valentine) and one real show(Sydney Teddy Bear Fair).
And then I have signed up for all 4 issues of the NEW Teddy Bear and Friends Mag. in the US. I´m really looking forward to the new design.
This mag. is going to have 4 issues a year instead of 6 next year - and each mag. will be bigger with a lot of feature and stuff.

Besides these two magazines, I was so lucky to get a spot in the Lollishops ad. in Somerset Life Spring Issue. This had to be a really really fast decision - and I didn´t hetitate one moment when the sign up was released. You have to be really quick as there´s only 30 spots available.
This will be my first ad. in one of Somersets magazines - oh, I love those magazines.

Sofar with the advertising next year - I´ll have to see what more will be necessary. Maybe I´ll be the lucky one for one more Somerset ad.

I realised I had to have new business cards for my Lollishop too. Spend the day taking pictures for those. And for some mini cards too. I have ordered my new business cards and mini cards at MOOs in UK. Can´t wait to see them in real. I think these pictures will look really pretty on my new cards.

Am I going to have a new look on my blog too next year? - Haven´t decided yet. But I have seen some really pretty designs, and would love to have a pretty look on mine too. I´ll have to make up my mind about that too. There´s some really clever girls out there making designs for blogs.
Maybe I just have too - a must you know....

Have a great day.

Work in progress

Yesterday I decided to work on some handmade gift tags for my new Lollishop.
I came across some really lovely images of old flowers and some beautiful vintage ladies.

These photos shows the work in progress. They are a bit dark - I know - but the weather isn´t bright these days in Denmark :o).
I had some tea-dyes tags I made a while ago. They are perfect for the images.
With a bit of lace for the ladies and some diamond glace for the flowers they look absolute pretty on the tags, I think.

I added some sparkling silver glitter on top of the images, and with a piece of seem binding on top, I think they are perfekt.

Looks at these flowers tags - aren´t they romantic. I just love the images of these old roses.

and these lovely vintage ladies, with a bit of old lace behind.
I reallly enjoyed making these tags - right now I have a pot in my kitchen filled with tea and more tags :o).
If you would like to see more pictures, just click on the Lollishops link in my left sidebar.
Have a lovely sunday.

My new banner

After I opened my new shop at Lollishops, I decided I HAD to have a new banner :o).
The old one with only bears didn´t really fit the shop and the dimensions wasn´t quite right, so
you see - I just had to..

And here it isIsn´t it pretty.
I just love that little picture on the left with the bear and the little girl drinking tea.
And the colors with the dusty rose and the old buttons and the brown ribbon...

My lovely new banner is created by Gail from Shabby Cottage Studio.
I just had to tell her a few things about what I like and don´t, and she captured the spirit and soul right away, and created this lovely banner for my shop.
Thanks a lot Gail.
She does the most lovely banners - I just love her style.
Be sure to check out her website Shabby Cottage Studio, to see examples of her beautiful work.

Gail also have the most lovely blog. Make sure to visit her at http://www.shabbycottagestudio.blogspot.com/

Now I think I have to work on a new banner for my blog too.

By the way - my little bears for the Christmas Online Show at Bear Paths haven´t arrived yet.
It seems they have ended up in customs - I really hope they will show up soon.
I´ll let you all know, as soon as they are there.

Many hugs

So frustrating

I´ve been so very frustrated these last couple of days, as The Christmas Online Show at Bear Paths is approaching, and my bears have not yet arrived in the shop - aarrrggg.
I shipped my 3 little ones from Denmark on November 18th and they arrived in the US on November 20th, and since then.... nothing have happened.
I have asked the postoffice the make a trace for the package, but I´m not sure they have done anything yet and the show opens on December 3rd - in only two days.

Now I just cross my fingers that they will show up for a late arrivel for the show.

Many hugs, Tina
