Some Great News and Some Great Finds

I promised I would show you my finds
from my latest visit at my all time favorite flea market
but first I want to share some great news with you.

I now have a sales representative in the US.
Sweet Felicia at The Bear Scout
is going to represent me and my bears at her
shows across the US and in Japan too.

I´m so happy to start working with Felicia and a little
bunch of bears are already on their way across the ocean
to make their debut over there.
Among is this sweet little black fellow above.
He is only 4.2 inch - his name is Pierre

this is - I have never seen any like that over here before.

Here´s a closeup of some of the lace pieces

Making something to Wear

I´ve finally had some time to create
something to wear.
I do have a shop for that too you know.

Knitting and crocheting is what I do in the evenings
while watching news on the tv.

I do watch a lot of news.
That´s almost the only thing I watch on the tv.

these last evenings I have been working on cuffs

this is how they look when finished.

For a long time I have been wanting to
make some fabric cuffs too.
I started gathering suppliers long time before Christmas
and it was planned to be my christmas months
cosy crafting project, but life happened
and I didn´t get time to make any.

Now was the time
and I´ve finally managed to make a few.
These are my first attemps, so bear with me :-)

A little closeup
I´ve used some of my vintage lace - of course

a little bling
and vintage buttons

more closeup
with a pretty rose colored velvet ribbon.
The rhinestones on this one
is actually inherited from my mother
so they are pretty old.

Here they are
5 different romantic cuffs

I think they turned out quite pretty
as a first attemp to be.

Both the knitted/crochet ones
and the fabric ones
are destined for

Wishing you all a very pretty day today

From Worktable to Finished Project

I´ve finished my project on my worktable
the project from last post
A new journal

here´s a look at the spine.
It´s a Full Tilt Boogies Journal.
I love how these journals are bound

this time I covered my book covers completely
using on of my vintage table cloths and some bits and snippets

a little closeup of the strap in the spine

lots of different pages inside.
A lot of white ones this time
but also some made of scrapbook paper, ledger paper
and covers from old records

a little texting on the front

here´s another look at the pages

and how the back of the journal looks like.

Now - If I only dared to start journaling
in some of these homemade journals

Those fresh pages - blank and ready...

seems I don´t have the courage yet.

Have a wonderful day my friends
and thank you for peeking in today
